Terms of Service

1. Service
SellerThreshold provides monitoring and reporting of US sales-tax economic nexus exposure based on order data the merchant connects (Shopify, CSV, and additional integrations). The service is a monitoring tool and does not constitute tax, legal, or accounting advice.
2. Account & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind the business you represent. You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Free trials require a valid payment method and convert to paid at the end of the trial unless cancelled. You can cancel any time from the Billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Acceptable use
You will not reverse engineer the service, resell it without written permission, upload data you don't have the right to process, or use the service to violate applicable law.
5. Merchant data
You retain ownership of the data you connect. You grant SellerThreshold a limited license to process it solely to deliver the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is". SellerThreshold makes no warranty that nexus calculations, alerts, or reports are complete or free of error. You are solely responsible for tax registration, collection, and filing decisions. Always consult a qualified CPA or tax advisor before acting on our outputs.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SellerThreshold's aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including tax penalties or interest.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. On termination we stop processing your data and delete it in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email at least 14 days in advance.
